Types of Financial Aid
Graduate students are eligible for federal loans (Perkins and Stafford), state grants (Cal Grants A and B), institutional aid (contact the department), and alternative loans. For more information, contact an SFS account counselor.
It is the student’s responsibility to pursue financial assistance to best meet his/her particular need. Grants, fellowships, scholarships, and loan assumptions are subject to federal and state regulations and resources.
