Karen Strand Winslow, Ph.D., is professor of Old Testament in C.P. Haggard Graduate School of Theology, where she teaches courses in Biblical Interpretation, Old Testament, Early Judaism, and Women in the Bible and Ministry. She is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church and director of the Free Methodist Center (FMC, October, 2004). The purpose of the FMC is to mentor Free Methodist students through their study program and place them where they are best suited to serve upon graduation. Her other fields of expertise include Jewish Studies, sociology of religion and women in religion. She is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and the American Academy of Religion.
